Halcyon is the preset-first one. Seven sections sit under a single UTOPIA macro, and the fastest way to use it is to open the browser, arrow down the bank until something lands, then ride the centre knob.
Each section has a small trim beside it, so “more of that” is one move and “shape it” is the second. UTOPIA at zero is bit-transparent.
Saturation, with an AIR trim on the saturated path.
One bipolar knob — lowpass one way, highpass the other — with an EDGE trim.
Ensemble chorus, with a RATE trim.
A two-head varispeed octave-up shifter with its own damped regeneration loop, sitting upstream of the delay and the reverb so the octaves bloom through both.
Tempo-synced delay, with TIME and FEED trims.
Reverb, with a SIZE trim.
Stereo width, on a horizontal slider.
Placed before the delay and reverb rather than after them, so an octave-up tail gets echoed and roomed instead of pasted on top.
Category rail with counts, a search box, and rows that load the instant you select them — so arrow keys audition the entire bank.
Thirteen of the 96 presets engage a single section. A bank where everything runs four modules at once just sounds like one preset played 96 times.
The same take, before and after. Hit play, then flip between the raw signal and the plugin doing its thing — no reload, no gap.
Save your own alongside them — they land in your user folder and survive updates.
Unzip, drop the .component into
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and the .vst3 into
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3, then rescan in your DAW. It appears under
Award Audio Tools. A step-by-step INSTALL.txt is in the zip.
Luminous multi-FX for lifting sounds up and out.
